Kramer Cards!

Last year I took pictures of Kramer, the dog I walk, and I made them into cards and gave them to Kramer's "mommy" for a Mother's Day gift.  Well, I made them early for Kramer's mommy this year.  I hope she likes them!

I used the Word Bubbles Framelit Dies to make the word bubbles and stamped them with various sentiment stamp sets so she would have a variety of occasions to give them.

I used the retiring colors, Gumball Green, Rich Razzleberry and Midnight Muse, for the layer of cardstock behind the picture.  I'm so sad these colors are retiring and Gumball Green is already sold out.  But to get anything else see the Retiring List and place your order before it's too late.

Spiral Flower Die Wreaths for Mother's Day!

What do you do with a whole roll of Natural 5/8" Chevron and Burlap Ribbon left over from the Celebrate the Everyday Catalog?  Go to Michaels, get a 6" Floral and Craft Ring and wrap the ribbon around it so you can create one of these darling floral wreaths!

I picked up some fake ivy sprigs from Michael's, cut the leaves off, keeping some of the stem on so I could insert them underneath the ribbon and hot glue them in place.  I used the hot glue gun to secure the ribbon and the flowers on the wreath.  I'm going to give this one to my mother for Mother's Day!

I used the Spiral Flower Die to make the flowers out of Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Very Vanilla Cardstock.  Then I added some Basic Pearls to the ivy for added interest.

I will be giving this one to my Aunt Helen for Mother's Day!

Epic Day This and That Designer Sticker Cards!

Hi There!  For today's post I made some really easy cards with Epic Day This and That Designer Stickers.  I put the stickers on a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of card stock and layered that onto a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card in Whisper White.  Then I punched a 2 1/2" circle and decorated it with Gorgeous Grunge and Four You Stamp Sets and Neutral Designer Buttons.  I embellished the rest of the card with Natural 5/8" Chevron Ribbon and White Baker's Twine.  Hope you enjoy making it as much as I did.  They come out unique each time.

Kramer's Easter Present!

I walk a dog named Kramer 3 times a week and every holiday I usually give him a treat.  For his Easter present I wanted to get him a big gourmet cookie.  Well, Petco has the best selection of dog cookies individually or by the pound.  Check it out!

Petco also gives you these neat little gift boxes with your cookies or you can make your own with a 2 1/2 " Circle Punch and some window sheets with Stampin' Up's gift boxes!  So of course I decorated mine with the Tag a Bag Accessory Kit , a Simply Pressed Clay button and the Delightful Dozen Easter stamp and made it really special!

Card for my Husband!

I gave this card to my husband because it reminded me of him and I holding hands, skipping through the meadow with the spring flowers in bloom.  Now we don't usually do that but that's what came to my mind when I created this card.

I love how the back of YOU and ME is plain and monochromatic Pistachio Pudding.  But the Ampersand made with the Ampersand Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is bright and colorful, laden with flowers.  That is how my husband and I are TOGETHER, but apart we are kind of bland :).  Enjoy!
By the way, he loved the card and I wrote a little sentiment about how special I though he is!

Sans and Stripes Photopolymer Stamps

We had an afternoon of stamping at my house on Saturday with the Pre-Teen/Young Teen Girls from my church.  We made these great notecards along with the Sweetie Pie notecards from another blog post.  I ended up giving  the UR AWESOME card and the FANTASTIC card to two of my nieces who are volunteering this summer for YOUTH CORP.  I am SO proud of them!

I used Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Island Indigo Classic Pads along with the Sans and Stripes Photopolymer Stamp Set to make these cards.  We had a blast!

Sweetie Pie Stamps!

When I saw the Sweetie Pie Photopolymer Stamp Set Stampin' Up! put out last month, I had to get it!  I reasoned since I have 3 boys, I would give it to my 9 year old niece for her birthday.  Well, when I received the set in the mail, I had to start playing with it!

Then, a friend from church asked if I could hold a stamping class for the young teen girls ministry.  Of course I said yes, and of course I thought of this set.  I just love each of the little girls' faces and how you can choose one that looks like you and make a card with it!  It's kind of like the American Girl Dolls.
Don't worry, I'm still going to get another set for my niece.  Good thing her birthday is in October.

Customer Appreciation Gifts!

I'm having a Customer Appreciation Night for my AWESOME customers on April 29th and here's the gift I'm giving each one of them that attends.  We will also be making the Mother's Day Card showed in an earlier post.

I bought the vases at Michaels along with the stem wire.   I cut the wire in three.  I used Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Very Vanilla for the flowers and the Spiral Flower Originals Die to cut out the flowers.  I punched a hole at the bottom of the spiral, bent the stem wire and stuck it through the top and hot glued it together and added the leaves.

Water Color Wonder Card Easter

Here is the other card we made at my Water Color Wonder Easter Card Class.  We had such fun!  Two of the girls brought flowers, balloons, chick cupcakes and candy.  It felt like we were at a birthday party!

I used "direct to paper" technique that is, took the ink pad and gently inked up the "concave" side of the Decorative Dots embossed paper by patting and twisting the ink pad until I achieved the color I wanted.  The dots stayed Very Vanilla.

Stampin’ Supplies Used:
Paper: Very Vanilla, Water Color Wonder Designer Notecards and Envelopes, Gumball Green
Stamps: Delightful Dozen
Ink: Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Crisp Cantelope
Accessories: Summer Starfruit Twine, Word Bubbles Framelit, Extra-Large Oval Punch, Decorative Dots Embossing Folder

These are the flowers, balloons, and chick cupcakes that Maria brought.  She is so thoughtful.

And these are the candy pails that Kathy brought each of us.
We had a fun night!

Easter Card Using Peaceful Petals and Blender Pens

Here is my 3rd Guest Stamper for the Month of April Sample I made for the Luv2Stamp Group using products from the Everyday Day Occasions Catalog.  This is also one of the cards we'll be making at my Water Color Wonder class tomorrow night at my class.

I cut one of the Water Color Note Cards in half and layered it onto Rich Razzleberry and Very Vanilla Cardstock.  I stamped the flower stamp from the Peaceful Petals Stamp Set with StazOn Black Ink.  I used blender pens and Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizazz and Garden Green Classic Ink Pads to color the flowers and leaves.  I embellished the flowers with Stampin' Glitter and 2-Way Glue, Gold Twine and Brights Designer Buttons.  I stamped the Happy Easter Sentiment with Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set.

Motivational Monsters Hybrid Cards!

I saw the motivational monster idea to keep your desk clean on Pinterest and loved the idea so much that I made one for my kids to keep their rooms clean.  Then my neighbor told me her 7 year old was sick and would love a card from my son as they are very good friends.  I thought the monster would be perfect for him, too!  The last card I made a birthday card because you can never have too many birthday cards.
I made these with My Digital Studio using the Ink Splatter, Scallop Edge Punch, Circle Punch, Petite Pennant Punch, Heart Punch and the Bird Legs and then adding candy dots to top it off.  I made the smile using Freeform and a curved line.  Who wouldn't be encouraged getting one of these? I stamped the sentiments with stamps from the Delightful Dozen and
Sassy Salutations Stamp Sets.

Golden Easter Eggs Easter Card!

Here is my 2nd sample as Guest Stamper for the Luv2Stamp Group for the month of April.  I wanted to use browns, golds and yellows for this Easter card and make the eggs look like they've been dyed in those colors.

For the middle egg, I used the Chevron Embossing Folder and the So Saffron Classic Ink directly on the paper to color the raised chevron stripes.
Stampin' Supplies Used:
Stamps: Delightful Dozen, Gorgeous Grunge
Paper: Whisper White, Baked Brown Sugar, Gold Vellum Paper
Ink: So Saffron, Gold Metallic Encore Pad
Accessories: Metal Buttons, Gold Twine, Gold Sequins, Word Bubbles Framelit, Water Color Wonder Washi Tape, Chevron Stripe Embossing Folder, Natural 5/8" Chevron Ribbon, Large Oval Punch
